British Aircraft Equipment - The "Turbinlite"

The theory of "Turbinlite" - This ill conceived  scheme was still in operation during the "Baedeker Raids". Two sorties were flown from Tangmere in the defenece of Bath by the "linked" Boston III's from 1458 Flight and the Hurricanes of 245 Squadron on the night of April 27th 1942. Not surprisingly both were unsuccessful.
