Fishponds Cottages
Fishponds Cottages is on Map 3d, but is not shown on the map. Fishponds Cottages is a named terrace that forms part of Church Lane in Widcombe
The City Engineer lists these as Historic Buildings, and also wrongly names them Fishpond Cottages. Street directories consistently use the plural Fishponds Cottages and so do the modern street signs, and I have reflected that here.
From the cottages, there is a good view of one of the ponds nearby in the grounds of Prior Park, which may be how they got their name.
