Daffords Buildings.
Daffords Buildings is on Map 1d. Daffords Buildings is named on the map, but the map is wrong. The road named Daffords Buildings is actually Dafford Street. Daffords Buildings ran between St Saviours Road and the west end of Eden Terrace, running parallel with Larkhall Place and slightly west of it. Between St Saviours Road and the beginning of Daffords Buildings are four other houses called Dafford Place, which are nor mentioned in the City Engineer's report.
The City Engineer and the 1939 road map show the name as Daffords Buildings, but the 1940 street directory shows the name as Dafford Buildings. The street directory shows 16 addresses in Daffords Buildings, but the City Engineer's report only lists 8 of them, which implies that the others were undamaged.
