Cross Lane.
Cross Lane is on Map 2c. Cross Lane is not shown on the map. Cross Lane ran between Monmouth Street and Kingsmead Street, opposite where the two roads (Princes Street and Beaufort Square, though neither are named) share a junction onto Monmouth Street. Cross Lane was a pedestrian route (like Bridewell Lane is today) rather than a road.
Cross Lane no longer exists; Kingsmead Flats now occupy that area.
